Workforce Administration Coordinator - Human Resources
Job Summary
Under direct supervision of the Director, the Workforce Administration Coordinator provides a broad range of administrative support services for a variety of campus-wide HR and employment programs, such as classification, compensation, disability leaves, talent acquisition, and employee services.
About the Role
The Human Resources (HR) department provides leadership and support for 1,600+ staff and non-academic management employees in organizational development and effectiveness, workforce planning, compensation and classification, recruitment and selection, employment, personnel policies and records, professional development, employee relations, labor relations/collective bargaining, performance management, workplace violence prevention, and employee recognition programs. HR also manages comprehensive and integrated benefits administration, disability leave, fee waiver, employment verification, HR information systems (HRIS), and employee information security for 2500+ faculty, management and staff employees.
Key Qualifications
- Demonstrated ability to accurately enter, retrieve, and compile data using various software systems;
- General knowledge of human resources functions, terminology, and practices, or the ability to quickly learn HR operations in a complex university environment;
- Ability to learn, interpret, and apply a variety of established policies and procedures independently;
- Ability to identify deviations from applicable policies and escalate appropriately;
- Thorough knowledge of office methods, procedures, and practices;
- Ability to troubleshoot routine office administration problems and respond to inquiries and requests related to the work area;
- Ability to escalate complex issues as needed.
Education And Experience
Equivalent to a bachelor’s degree in a related field. Relevant education and/or experience which demonstrates acquired and successfully applied knowledge and abilities shown above may be substituted for the required education on a year-for-year basis.
Salary And Benefits
Anticipated Hiring Range: $57,588 - $66,156 per year
Classification Range: $57,588 - $83,904 per year

Supplemental Information
Satisfactory completion of a background check (including a criminal records check) is required for employment.
