About the role

Protiviti is seeking a Technology Consulting Associate Director (Workday HCM/Payroll Senior Manager) to join its growing Workday team. The role is based in Atlanta, GA (Peachtree Rd) with additional locations in Austin, Charlotte, Dallas, Denver, Houston, Miami, Orlando, Philadelphia, Phoenix, and Tampa.

Responsibilities

• Partner with clients to identify and manage risk.
• Develop strategies to solve complex business problems using new ways of thinking.
• Devise solutions to support client needs using latest tools and methods.
• Develop lasting relationships with client personnel and further these relationships through quality product delivery.
• Foster a network within the business community and serve as an ambassador of Protiviti in the market.
• Mentor and provide performance development to teams while overseeing successful completion of project work plans.
• Serve as a Workday solution architect and workstream lead for HCM and Payroll.
• Act as project manager over large, complex Workday HCM and payroll implementations.
• Develop Workday HCM and payroll implementation plans, including estimating level of effort, timing, and costs.
• Lead/manage future state design and process improvement projects focused on HCM and Payroll business functions.
• Design and implement Workday HCM and Payroll, including requirements definition, design workshops, testing, data conversion, training, cutover, and post go‑live support.
• Design and architect Workday HCM and Payroll configurations (core HCM, Compensation, Advanced Comp, Benefits Administration, Payroll, and integrations).
• Implement best practices for Workday HCM and Payroll to ensure data accuracy, security, and compliance.
• Conduct gap analysis between business needs and Workday capabilities, recommending solutions or enhancements.
• Lead and perform Workday application control reviews and risk assessments.
