About the Role
Under the direction of the Aquatics Director and/or the Program Specialist I or II, the Program Coordinator I is primarily responsible for assisting in hiring, program planning, and overseeing aquatic programs in accordance with the goals and policies of the YMCA.
Responsibilities
- Supervise aquatic programs, including maintaining and improving quality, enrollment, and retention of participants
- Stay aware of current trends in the field
- Help build relationships and foster a small community atmosphere among members
- Oversee new programs
- Conduct staff training
- Manage brochure and marketing requests
