About the role

Applicants will be considered for any power jack start type opening on shift posted. Must be available to work overtime and weekends if required. Must accept work in a cold and damp environment with temperatures ranging from 28 to 42 degrees. Jobs are fast paced and require repetitive motion. Some positions require lifting, pushing and pulling up to 40+ lbs. Material Handling and Receiving positions require lifting 70+ lbs. Constant standing, walking, and riding of powered material handling equipment. Specialized training for powered industrial trucks required to be qualified within Tyson Foods, Inc.

Responsibilities

• Operate power jack and related material handling equipment.
• Work overtime and weekends as needed.
• Perform duties in a cold, damp environment (28‑42°F).
• Maintain fast‑paced workflow with repetitive motions.
• Lift, push, and pull up to 40+ lbs (up to 70+ lbs for material handling/receiving roles).
• Stand, walk, and ride powered equipment continuously.
• Label, organize, and align pallets in cooler areas.
• Adhere to Tyson’s safety culture and work cooperatively with teammates.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 months of powered industrial truck operator experience (can be combined across employers).
• Ability to label, organize, and align pallets in a cooler.
• Must obtain certification in both pallet jack and forklift operation.
• Willingness to work with others to uphold Tyson’s safety culture.
• Ability to meet physical job demands with or without reasonable accommodation.
