About the role

Applicants will be considered for any power jack start type opening on shift posted. Jobs are fast paced and require repetitive motion. Some positions require lifting, pushing and pulling up to 40+ lbs. Material Handling and Receiving positions require lifting 70+ lbs. Constant standing, walking, and riding of powered material handling equipment.

Responsibilities

• Work in a cold and damp environment with temperatures ranging from 28 to 42 degrees.
• Label, organize and align pallets in cooler.
• Become certified in both pallet jack and forklift operation.
• Work with others to adhere to Tyson's safety culture.

Requirements

• Must have 3-Months operator experience listed on the application (can be a combination of employers as long as experience is at least 3 months).
• Must be able to work overtime and weekends if required.

Qualifications

• Must be able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.

Skills

• Specialized training for powered industrial trucks required to be qualified within Tyson Foods, Inc.
