Pay: $16.90 per hour
About the role
Applicants will be considered for any power jack start type opening on the posted shift. The environment is cold and damp, with temperatures ranging from 28 to 42 degrees. Work is fast-paced, involves repetitive motion, and requires constant standing, walking, and operating powered material handling equipment. Some positions require lifting, pushing, and pulling up to 40+ lbs; material handling and receiving roles require lifting 70+ lbs.
Specialized training for powered industrial trucks is provided; certification in both pallet jack and forklift operation is required. The successful candidate must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.
Responsibilities
- Operate powered material handling equipment
- Label, organize, and align pallets in cooler
- Lift, push, and pull heavy materials (up to 70+ lbs for material handling and receiving positions)
- Adhere to Tyson's safety culture
Requirements
- Minimum 3 months of operator experience (can be a combination of employers)
- Ability to work overtime and weekends if required
- Ability to work in a cold, damp, and fast-paced environment
- Must be able to work collaboratively with others

Rehire Policy
- If previously employed at Tyson, there is a 180-day waiting period before reapplying
