About the role

Applicants will be considered for any power jack start type opening on the posted shift. Must be available to work overtime and weekends if required. Must accept work in a cold and damp environment with temperatures ranging from 28 to 42 degrees.

• Fast-paced work requiring repetitive motion
• Some positions require lifting, pushing, and pulling up to 40+ lbs
• Material Handling and Receiving positions require lifting 70+ lbs
• Constant standing, walking, and riding of powered material handling equipment
• Specialized training for powered industrial trucks required to be qualified within Tyson Foods, Inc.

Requirements

• At least 3 months of operator experience (can be combined across employers)
• Ability to label, organize, and align pallets in cooler
• Must become certified in both pallet jack and forklift operation
• Ability to work with others to adhere to Tyson's safety culture
• If minimum requirements are met, may be contacted for a facility visit
• Prior Tyson employees: 180-day waiting period before reapplying
• Applicants who have worked for Tyson Foods three or more times are not eligible for rehire
