Winder Operator | North Vernon, IN | HIRING IMMEDIATELY

• Compensation: Starting rate of $17.75 an hour (Based on experience)
• Available Shifts: 6:50AM-7PM 2-2-3 schedule

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Understand and follow all JSA’s and safety procedures/policies
• Loads Cores and Journals on take-up equipment
• Webs, pulls and maintains resin material to produce quality film onto rolls
• Inspects quality of rolls before production begins and continuously checks quality of the line as it is being produced
• Properly documents quality inspections
• Cheks all safety guards are in place and working properly according to procedure
• Cuts lines that have lost air or are of poor quality
• Removes rolls in a timely manner from lines that have gone down or finished runs
• Properly labels, packages and stages finished rolls
• Weights scrap tubs, records weight and sends to be recycled

Qualifications

• Eligible to work in the United States
• Successful completion of pre-employment background and drug screen
• Ability to perform the essential functions of the job with or without accommodation
• The commitment to stay safe and to continue to learn and develop
• Satisfactorily completes training courses as determined by management
