Class A Laborer Operator

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Must be willing to travel and work overtime as needed
• Must be able to perform physical manual labor duties within the workday
• Ensure that safety equipment is used properly at all times and that work is carried out in a safe and efficient manner
• Operate service and maintain trucks and other equipment
• Comply with proper method of loading and unloading for the various material and equipment to be transported
• Be able to follow company guidelines in regard to acceptable conduct when dealing with customers, fellow employees and the public
• Keep appropriate documentation, driver daily logs, all necessary trip reports, and fuel reports

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years old, have a valid commercial driver license (CDL) with a clean driving record
• Must have construction experience
• Self-motivated with ability to follow oral and written instructions
• Demonstrated ability to interact effectively and cooperatively with coworkers
• Able to exert heavy physical effort, lift heavy physical objects, kneel, crouch, balance, climb or crawl
• Must pass background check and company drug testing procedures as well as Federal Motor Carrier drug and alcohol testing regulations
