Job Responsibilities
Promotes, maintains, and improves individual and community health by assisting individuals and communities to adopt healthy behaviors.
Collects and analyzes data to identify community needs prior to planning, implementing, monitoring, and evaluating programs designed to encourage healthy lifestyles, policies, and environments.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in education, social, behavioral, or biological sciences or a directly related field from an accredited college or university.
- Preferred qualifications: Degree in dietetics, human nutrition, food & nutrition, nutrition education, food systems management or a closely related field from an Academy of Nutrition & Dietetics accredited program.
- Must have at minimum 18 hours in Nutrition Education from an accredited college.

Employment Information
- Current CBH employees are subject to State Personnel Board rules regarding salary.
- CBH accepts educational credentials recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA) and/or the US Department of Education (DOE).
- The District Human Resource Department must receive an official transcript and/or proof of licenses, certifications prior to employment.
