About the role
The WIC Nutrition Health Educator supports the mission, goals, and objectives of the North Country Family Health Center, Inc., focusing on enhancing nutritional services within the WIC Program.
Responsibilities
- Follows standards for the assessment process to determine WIC eligibility.
- Personalizes nutrition education, referrals, and food package tailoring.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in an appropriate health-related field from an accredited college or university with at least 6 credit hours in nutrition, or
- Nutrition and Dietetic Technician, Registered (DTR/NDTR), or
- Registered Nurse (RN) with a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university,
- Valid driver’s license,
- Ability to travel among Jefferson and Lewis Counties, and for trainings,
- Flexibility in work hours which includes working evenings and Saturdays.
