The Management in Trainee (MIT) Program at SRS/Heritage is designed to fast-track aspiring leaders into the building/landscape or pool distribution industry. Participants gain hands-on experience across various departments, including warehouse operations, sales, finance, safety, supply chain, and human resources.
About the role
Our goal is to equip participants with the skills needed to progress to positions such as Assistant Branch Manager, Branch Manager, or Operations Manager. The program is tailored to individual progress and includes on-the-job training, mentorship, and corporate development initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Hands-on experience in all aspects of the business
- Learn from industry experts and network with peers
- Receive support from a dedicated Talent Management team
- Develop expertise in managing a multi-million-dollar operation
Qualifications
- Strong leadership qualities and dedication
- Proven success in roles requiring responsibility and accountability
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Well-versed in computer skills, with strong strategic thinking, organizational, and time management abilities
- Preferred Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Distribution, Supply Chain, Business Management, Construction Management, or similar fields
- Two years of related work experience, or a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Requirements
- Must have a Bachelor’s degree or be within 2 semesters of graduating with a Bachelor’s degree
- Relocation for training and promotions may be required
