About the role

The Wellness Center Ambassador plays a crucial role in ensuring a welcoming and efficient experience for patients and visitors at the Health and Wellness Center. This position involves a variety of responsibilities including greeting guests, facilitating check-ins, directing patients, and handling administrative tasks.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests and greet them promptly and courteously.
• Remain visible at the point of entry and maintain a professional appearance.
• Obtain and verify demographic information as required.
• Direct patients to accurate locations or investigate their needs for registration, check-in, or scheduling.
• Escorts patients needing a wheelchair to their destination and handles confirmations and check-ins.
• Answer telephones and facilitate calls according to organizational standards.
• Enforce access control policies and assist security with visitor situations.
• Conduct environmental observations and follow up to address issues.
• Communicate with the medical team and support clerical matters related to patient care.
• Use digital solutions to guide patients through check-in, registration, or scheduling.
• Support the reception area by handling routine inquiries, complaints, and restocking supplies.

Requirements

This position requires a flexible schedule to accommodate early mornings, evenings, and weekends, including Saturdays. Applicants should have a high school diploma or equivalent, one year of working experience, and possess strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills. Bilingual candidates are preferred.
