About the role
The Wellbeing Coordinator Lead at Meadowview Care Home plays a crucial part in enhancing the lives of elderly individuals through the planning and execution of engaging activities.
Responsibilities
- Create a comprehensive Calendar of Events, including both group and one-to-one activities.
- Arrange entertainment and ensure activities remain within the monthly budget.
- Organise seasonal events and outings that bring joy and variety to the residents' lives.
- Regularly liaise with the Home Manager to tailor activities based on individual residents' abilities and preferences.
- Build meaningful relationships with residents to better understand their interests and needs.
- Maintain proper documentation for activities and budgets.
- Communicate effectively with families, residents, and the care team.
Requirements
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
- A positive attitude to both supporting and nurturing residents and staff.
- Responsive and flexible to cover a range of responsibilities.
Qualifications
No specific qualifications are required, but a passion for well-being and a caring nature are essential.
