Well-Being & Benefits Lead
Responsibilities
- Provide guidance and oversight to team members on complex cases, and respond to escalated employee inquiries.
- Support key compliance initiatives such as COBRA administration, PPACA reporting, ERISA requirements, and government filings.
- Lead and coordinate annual benefit renewals, including planning timelines, broker discussions, market reviews, system setup, carrier files integrations, and contract management.
- Make expert recommendations on benefit enhancements, planning design changes, and vendor selection, based on market and performance data.
- Develop and update internal processes, job aids, and standard operating procedures; coordinate updates to employee communications; document resolutions and look for process improvements.
- Protect and maintain any highly sensitive, confidential, privileged, financial, and/or proprietary information that Latham & Watkins retains.
Qualifications
- Demonstrate expert-level understanding of benefits structures and compliance requirements across the relevant region.
- Show strong commercial acumen, including vendor evaluation, benchmarking, and contract considerations.
- Be highly skilled in relationship and stakeholder management, including external vendors and senior internal partners.
- A minimum of three (3) years of experience in employee benefits administration.
- A minimum of five (5) years of cumulative experience, or a minimum of nine (9) years of experience with a bachelor’s degree or equivalent.

Pay Range
USD $120,000.00 - USD $135,000.00 /Yr.
