About the role

The Weldment Quality Assurance Inspector is responsible for inspecting weldments to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.

Responsibilities

  • Inspect weldments for defects and non-conformities using various inspection tools and techniques.
  • Document findings and discrepancies in inspection reports.
  • Work closely with production teams to resolve issues and improve quality control processes.
  • Participate in training sessions to stay updated on new inspection methods and technologies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in quality assurance or inspection.
  • Proficiency in using inspection equipment such as gauges, calipers, and measuring devices.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of welding processes and materials.
  • Experience with quality management systems such as ISO 9001.
  • Basic understanding of statistical process control (SPC).

Skills

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Good problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends as needed.
