WELDING PROJECT LEADER 3
The Role
Must Have:
- A high school graduate or equivalent with at least eight (8) years of related welding experience.
- Experience in the operation of automatic welding processes (preferred).
- Knowledge of ship construction methods, welding processes and equipment, and applicable welding and quality procedures.
- Excellent communication skills.
Nice to Have:
- An NNS Apprentice graduate and experienced in the operation of automatic welding processes (preferred).

Responsibilities
As a Welding Project Leader 3, you will:
- Lead welding projects, ensuring adherence to quality standards and timelines.
- Operate and maintain welding equipment and machinery.
- Train and mentor junior welders.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to develop and implement welding processes.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant safety protocols and regulations.
Requirements
Qualifications for this position include:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of eight (8) years of related welding experience.
- Experience in the operation of automatic welding processes (preferred).
- Knowledge of ship construction methods, welding processes and equipment, and applicable welding and quality procedures.
- Excellent communication skills.

Pay
The anticipated salary range for this role is $93,000.00 to $116,000.00. Final compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and other job-related factors, and may vary from the posted range.
Schedule
The shift is 1st, and travel requirements are up to 10% of the time.
