The Role

Must Have:

• A high school graduate or equivalent with at least eight (8) years of related welding experience.
• Experience in the operation of automatic welding processes (preferred).
• Knowledge of ship construction methods, welding processes and equipment, and applicable welding and quality procedures.
• Excellent communication skills.

Nice to Have:

• An NNS Apprentice graduate and experienced in the operation of automatic welding processes (preferred).

Responsibilities

As a Welding Project Leader 3, you will:

• Lead welding projects, ensuring adherence to quality standards and timelines.
• Operate and maintain welding equipment and machinery.
• Train and mentor junior welders.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to develop and implement welding processes.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant safety protocols and regulations.

Requirements

Qualifications for this position include:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of eight (8) years of related welding experience.
• Experience in the operation of automatic welding processes (preferred).
• Knowledge of ship construction methods, welding processes and equipment, and applicable welding and quality procedures.
• Excellent communication skills.

Pay

The anticipated salary range for this role is $93,000.00 to $116,000.00. Final compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and other job-related factors, and may vary from the posted range.

Schedule

The shift is 1st, and travel requirements are up to 10% of the time.
