- Master’s Degree and 3 years of relevant professional experience;

Newport News Shipbuilding requires a Bachelor's Degree in engineering from an ABET accredited program.
About the Role
As a Welding Engineer 3, you will be responsible for performing welding operations, inspecting welds, and ensuring compliance with quality standards and safety regulations. You will also participate in design reviews, provide technical support, and assist in the development of new welding processes and techniques.
