Welder (Night Shift)

SA Recycling is seeking a capable Welder (Night Shift) to repair and maintain a metal‑recycling shredder and other recycling equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform repair and maintenance assignments for a metal recycling shredder and other industrial equipment.
• Weld various steel components using ARC and MIG welding equipment.
• Cut, trim, fit, and fabricate metal components to specific dimensions.
• Execute related tasks such as flame cutting, bending, forming, beveling, and notching of metal and plastic parts.
• Maintain accurate records of all work performed.
• Interpret prints, drawings, and verbal instructions.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area in compliance with corporate and OSHA standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; graduation from a trade school preferred.
• 3+ years’ experience with MIG, stick, and torch welding on a variety of materials.
• Recycling‑industry experience preferred.
• Advanced knowledge of welding fabrication tools and techniques.
• Understanding of federal, state, and local job‑site health and safety regulations.
• Ability to work safely at varying heights, in tight quarters, and in various positions.
• Bi‑lingual (English and Spanish) a plus.
