Weekend Private Duty LVN Nurse

About the Role

The Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse (LPN/LVN) provides skilled nursing care under supervision, following care plans and physician orders. They document assessments, nursing actions, and patient responses, ensuring quality and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and coordinate patient care
• Monitor patient conditions and update care plans
• Implement nursing interventions
• Educate patients and families on disease management and self-care
• Maintain infection control standards
• Adhere to regulations and policies

Requirements

• Active, unencumbered LPN/LVN license
• Current CPR certification
• TB test within the last 12 months
• Reliable transportation
• Ability to lift 50 pounds
• Physical stamina for walking, standing, and repositioning patients
• Compliance with health and safety standards, including exposure to bodily fluids and infectious diseases

Qualifications & Skills

• Relevant clinical experience preferred
• Strong attention to detail and organization
