Weekend CNA - Part-Time

About the role

The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) provides in-home care services to patients, supporting their daily needs and promoting independence within their residence.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care, including personal hygiene, mobility assistance, and basic nursing tasks as prescribed.
• Assist with transfers, repositioning, and ambulation to ensure patient safety.
• Prepare meals tailored to dietary requirements and preferences.
• Offer companionship and engage patients in activities suited to their interests.
• Perform light housekeeping duties and complete documentation accurately using EVV systems.
• Monitor and report changes in patient condition, maintaining confidentiality and respecting patient rights.
• Follow the established Plan of Care strictly, avoiding medication administration.
• Use equipment such as blood pressure cuffs and stethoscopes as needed.

Qualifications

• Maintain current certification with DFS.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Effective communication skills, including reading, writing, and following instructions.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, bend, and stand for extended periods.
• Compassionate attitude toward patient care and safety.
