Weekend CNA - Part-Time

About the role

We are seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for home care services, working primarily on weekends from 08:00 am to 2:00 pm.

Responsibilities

• Providing direct patient care, including personal hygiene, bathing, grooming, and assisting with transfers and ambulation
• Administering basic nursing care and prescribed exercises under supervision
• Preparing meals per client preferences and dietary needs
• Offering companionship and engaging in activities tailored to individual interests
• Performing light housekeeping and maintaining accurate records of care provided
• Monitoring and reporting changes in the client’s physical or psychosocial condition
• Adhering to the plan of care, including completing tasks via EVV app and respecting patient confidentiality
• Ensuring safety by following protocols, including reporting suspected abuse or unsafe environments

Qualifications

• Current certification with DFS
• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Effective communication skills and physical ability to perform tasks like lifting and bending
• A compassionate attitude toward patient care

The role involves travel within a designated area and physical tasks such as lifting approximately 50 lbs. The position emphasizes teamwork and adherence to care plans, with no guaranteed hours or employment duration.
