About the role
Seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for home care services on weekends, providing direct patient care in clients' residences.
Responsibilities
- Assisting with personal hygiene, including bathing, grooming, and mouth care.
- Supporting transfers, repositioning, and ambulation.
- Providing basic nursing care and prescribed exercises under supervision.
- Preparing meals tailored to client preferences and dietary needs.
- Offering companionship and engaging in activities suited to individual interests.
- Performing light housekeeping duties as assigned.
- Maintaining accurate records, reporting changes in client conditions, and completing tasks via EVV systems.
- Upholding confidentiality, respecting patient rights, and reporting any abuse or unsafe situations.
Qualifications
- Current certification with DFS.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Effective communication skills and physical ability to perform tasks like lifting and bending.
- Compassionate attitude toward patient care.
