About the role
This role is for a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in home care services, focusing on providing direct patient care in clients' residences.
Responsibilities
- Assisting with personal hygiene, mobility, and transfers
- Administering basic nursing care and prescribed exercises
- Preparing meals according to dietary needs
- Offering companionship and engaging activities
- Performing light housekeeping duties
- Maintaining accurate records and reporting changes in patient conditions
- Adhering to the care plan and completing tasks via EVV system
- Upholding patient confidentiality and safety, and reporting concerns such as abuse or neglect
Physical demands
Lifting approximately 50 lbs, with travel required within the service area.
Qualifications
- Maintaining certification
- Effective communication skills
