WCOE - Dean's Suite - Graduate Assistant Monthly - (GA) Pool
About the role
The Graduate Assistant in the Watson College of Education Dean’s Suite will provide critical support to departments and programs in preparing and maintaining compliance with state documents and information.
Responsibilities
- Utilize technology skills to perform data entry, digital file management, document design, technology support, program information analysis, reporting, and recruitment.
- Aid departments and programs with compiling, organizing, and maintaining state-required documents and information.
- Support the preparation of program-level reports and submissions to ensure timely compliance.
- Contribute to communication efforts, including website analysis, correspondence, and report formatting.
- Conduct appropriate research and provide evidence-based information to strengthen program quality and compliance.
- Assist with technology support, recruitment efforts, and research special projects.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled as a CSUSB graduate student in good standing (credential program students are not eligible).
- Maintain academic eligibility throughout employment (3.0 GPA or higher).
- Demonstrated ability to utilize technology skills, including Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), Adobe, and website platforms.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in compiling and maintaining records.
- Effective communication skills and ability to work cooperatively with faculty, staff, and students across multiple departments and programs.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Adobe, and Websites.
- Experience in document design software and digital linkage.
- Experience in information gathering and analysis.
Special Conditions
- The person holding this position is considered a 'mandated reporter' under the California Child Abuse and Neglect Reporting Act and is required to comply with the requirements set forth in CSU Executive Order 1083 as a condition of employment.
- A background check (including a criminal records check) must be completed satisfactorily before any candidate may start work with CSUSB.
- Failure to satisfactorily complete the background check may result in the withdrawal of the offer of employment.

Salary
