Description

Lead all on-site construction activities for a major infrastructure project in New Bedford, MA.

  • Manage daily field operations, subcontractors, trade coordination, safety compliance, and project scheduling.
  • Oversee construction of an approximately $18M pump station and related support structures.
  • Cook complex underground utility installation activities, including deep excavation work and utility infrastructure construction.
  • Ensure quality, productivity, budget, and schedule objectives are achieved.
  • Work closely with project management and leadership teams to maintain project success and client satisfaction.
  • Support the completion of a project that is approximately six months into construction with roughly one year remaining.
  • Travel primarily within the South Shore region as future project assignments become available.
  • Participate in a streamlined interview process consisting of a phone interview, leadership team meeting, references, and offer stage.

    Compensation & Benefits

    Base salary: $125,000 - $165,000

    Profile Must-Have Qualifications

    • Proven experience serving as a Lead Superintendent on construction projects.
    • Strong sitework and underground utility construction experience.
    • Experience managing field teams, subcontractors, schedules, and site safety.
    • Comfortable working with deep underground excavations of approximately 25 feet.
    • Able to commute to the New Bedford, MA project site.
    • Strong understanding of heavy civil, utility, and infrastructure construction practices.

      Preferred Qualifications

      • Water, wastewater, or pump station construction experience.
      • Experience with deep excavation utilizing slide rail systems.
      • Experience with dewatering operations and underground utility installations.
      • Experience setting large precast structures using cranes.
