Heavy Civil Construction Superintendent - Water/Wastewater

About the Role

Oversee day-to-day construction activities on water and wastewater treatment plant, pump station, and heavy civil construction projects. Work closely with project managers to keep projects aligned with budget, schedule, production goals, safety expectations, and quality standards.

• Coordinate field crews, subcontractors, equipment, materials, and site logistics to support efficient project execution.
• Review project plans, specifications, submittals, drawings, and site conditions to identify obstacles and help develop practical solutions.
• Maintain required documentation including time sheets, daily reports, equipment reports, toolbox talks, three-week look-ahead plans, and field progress updates.
• Collaborate professionally with owners, engineers, inspectors, subcontractors, and internal project teams throughout the project lifecycle.
• Lead field teams with a focus on communication, accountability, safety, quality workmanship, and overall project success.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of superintendent experience in water/wastewater or heavy civil construction environments.
• Experience overseeing WTP/WWTP projects, pump stations, and heavy concrete structures required.
• Ability to read and understand plans, specifications, submittals, schedules, and field documentation.
• Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and standard field reporting/documentation tools.
