Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage multiple technical teams, including Group Managers, Project Managers, and Engineers, to ensure successful project completion and business outcomes across the region
- Provide strategic leadership and direction on water/wastewater engineering projects, ensuring compliance with all technical and regulatory standards
- Guide the team in the design, planning, and optimization of infrastructure for water systems such as treatment plants, watermain replacement, sewer systems, booster stations, and wastewater pumping stations
- Oversee business development efforts, including proposal preparation, and collaborate with peers across the organization to support team goals and company success
- Collaborate with regional leadership to ensure alignment of projects and goals with the company’s overall strategy for growth and success
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering required
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required, with New Jersey licensure preferred
- 15-20 years of experience in water, wastewater, and sewer engineering, with a strong background in project management, client relations, and staff development
- Proven experience in managing large-scale water/wastewater projects, including budgeting, design, and client engagement
- Demonstrated expertise in business management, including workload forecasting, business planning, KPI attainment, invoicing/collections, recruitment, and staff development
- Strong leadership abilities with experience in team-building, collaboration, and strategic planning
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize, manage time effectively, and work independently or as part of a team
