Description

Job purpose

• Manage all activities in the Warranty Departments at the branch level.
• Oversee the investigations of the claims process.
• Verify coverage of machines and audit the claims process for each business unit/branch.
• Provide research and resolution to escalated warranty issues between branches and Manufacturers.

Duties and responsibilities

• Train Warranty Personnel to understand the most current manufacturers’ warranty policies
• Train and guide technician, admin and management at the branch level in the warranty process.
• Identify and implement process improvement within the Warranty Department and branch levels.
• Implement best warranty practices at the branch level.
• Follow up on all rejected and partial paid claims with branch personnel
• Audit branch, claim submissions are received within 30 day guidelines set forth by manufacturer
• Review internal trend system for all aged warranty jobs
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Minimum of 8 years of experience with a heavy equipment dealer/distributor
• Minimum of 5 years of experience with claims administration and or customer service
• GED or High School Diploma

• Strong Microsoft office skills, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook
