About The Role

The Facilities Warranty Manager oversees and coordinates warranty-related activities for equipment, buildings, and other assets. This role supports the Facilities Department and works cross-functionally with Construction & NSO to ensure the successful execution of initiatives, projects, and maintenance tasks. Key responsibilities include CMMS administration, warranty management, equipment monitoring, vendor coordination, data management, training, budgeting, and risk management.

Key Responsibilities

  • CMMS Administration: Oversee the setup, management, and improvement of the CMMS (Service Channel) for warranty processes.
  • Warranty Management: Oversee and manage all warranty processes for equipment, buildings, and mechanical systems, ensuring timely and effective resolution of claims.
  • Equipment and Systems: Monitor equipment and systems, identify potential warranty claims, coordinate inspections, and schedule repairs and replacements.
  • Building Warranty Coordination: Manage warranties related to building construction, renovations, and structural components, ensuring claims are processed according to contractual obligations.
  • Vendor and Contractor Relations: Establish and maintain relationships with vendors and contractors, negotiate warranty terms, and ensure compliance with warranty provisions.
  • Data Management & Reporting: Track warranty claims, generate reports, and provide updates on warranty status to senior management.
  • Training and Development: Conduct training sessions for OPS on warranty processes and stay updated on industry trends.
  • Budgeting and Cost Control: Assist in budgeting and controlling warranty expenses to align with overall facilities budget and financial goals.
  • Cross-Departmental Collaboration: Partner with construction, NSO, IT, Accounting, and other departments for system updates and data management.
  • Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements and implement strategies to mitigate risks.
