Job Duties

  • Review documentation generated by the Service Department for all pertinent information required to submit the claim to the factory.
  • Interprets and converts all work performed into manufacturers' labor segment codes and the related approved labor reimbursement amounts.
  • Complies with any requirements to support the computer claim by providing the necessary supporting documents.
  • Investigates in advance of a repair by using the manufacturers' computer systems whether a product is under warranty coverage.
  • Reviews status reports.
  • Stays abreast of all factory communications that affect the warranty area of the Service Department.
  • Contributes to the total Support Center team by maintaining the current job status on all computer service tracking systems when needed.

Job Experience & Qualifications

  • A high school diploma or equivalent (GED).
  • One to three months related experience and/or training.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Computer and software skills including Microsoft Office Suite.
