Wargaming, Exercise, and Readiness Specialist
About the role
The U.S. Space Force is rapidly expanding to address global threats. Our team is sought out to solve the service’s most difficult and amorphous problems. We are tasked with designing, standing up, operating, and optimizing organizations. We are tasked with identifying advanced tools and technology that can expedite military outcomes or reduce staff burden. We are tasked with managing the byproducts of change through project implementation.
Responsibilities
- Supporting joint military exercises, training events, or wargames in a uniformed capacity
- Supporting military wargames
- Developing planning artifacts such as EXPLANs, MSELs, or AARs
- Performing readiness functions in the Defense Readiness Reporting System
- Briefing GO, FO, or SES-level audiences
- Identifying advanced tools and technology that can expedite military outcomes or reduce staff burden
- Managing the byproducts of change through project implementation
Requirements
- Experience supporting joint military exercises, training events, or wargames in a uniformed capacity
- Experience supporting military wargames
- Experience developing planning artifacts such as EXPLANs, MSELs, or AARs
- Experience performing readiness functions in the Defense Readiness Reporting System
- Knowledge of joint planning processes such as JPP and JOPES
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 25% of the time
Qualifications
- TS/SCI clearance
- Bachelor's degree
Skills
- Experience supporting U.S. Space Force operationally-focused organizations
- Experience with Joint All-Domain Operations (JADO) concepts
- Experience integrating space into large-scale exercises
- Experience working with international or coalition partners
- Experience with space domain operations such as SATCOM, PNT, missile warning, or SDA
- Knowledge of Modeling and Simulation (M&S) tools used in exercises

Pay
The projected compensation range for this position is $86,800.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD).
