Job Tasks
- Design training syllabus for professional wargaming
- Develop training content and materials for professional wargaming education
- Research, learn, and play-test manual/tabletop and computer-assisted wargame systems
- Develop unit/equipment database
- Design and develop tactical and operational scenarios: orders of battle, unit laydowns, unit taskings
- Play-test scenarios
- Support development of Technical and Operator Manuals for M&S scenario creation
- Support development of test cases for formal acceptance testing
- Support training delivery
- Provide training and demonstrations
- Teach manual/tabletop and computer-assisted wargame systems
- Support Instructors in the setup and execution of training delivery to the customer
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
- At least a Bachelor's degree in Military Science, Modeling and Simulations, History, Political Science, or related fields
- 8+ years experience in professional wargaming, military training design and development, military service, and/or military modeling and simulations
- Wargame design, development, employment
- Manual/table-top wargaming
- Computer-assisted wargaming
- Professional instructional design and course development
