We are seeking prior service members with understanding of how the defense enterprise works and a willingness to problem solve issues big and small. Our teams are tasked with designing, standing up, operating, and optimizing organizations. We’re tasked with identifying advanced tools and technology that can expedite military outcomes or reduce staff burden. We’re tasked with managing the byproducts of change through project implementation. Each project we take on presents new opportunity.

Responsibilities

  • Support wargaming, experimentation, and capability gap assessments for Department of Defense (DoD) customers
  • Perform prioritization assessments and risk assessments
  • Support general staff functions, including travel planning for senior leaders
  • Travel up to 25% of the time

Requirements

  • Experience in wargaming, experimentation, and capability gap assessments for DoD customers
  • Experience with Excel features, including data modeling and PowerPivot
  • Experience performing prioritization assessments and risk assessments
  • Experience with coding
  • Knowledge of analysis techniques using Python, MATLAB, or R
  • TS/SCI clearance
  • Bachelor’s degree

Qualifications

  • Experience as a 15A, FA49, or GS 1515
  • Experience leveraging advanced Operations Research and Systems Analysis (ORSA) tools, including their strengths, weaknesses, and situational applicability
  • Experience formally briefing senior military leaders on complex topics
  • Experience interfacing with external organizations, including Combatant Commands, Field Commands or Major Commands, and the Joint Staff
  • Experience leveraging the DoD’s Task Management Tool (TMT)
  • Experience supporting the space military or intelligence communities
  • Knowledge of the U.S. Space Force
  • Master’s degree

Full-time and part-time employees working at least 20 hours a week on a regular basis are eligible to participate in Booz Allen’s benefit programs. Individuals that do not meet the threshold are only eligible for select offerings, not inclusive of health benefits.

Pay

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $86,800.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD).

Schedule

This position may be remote, hybrid, or onsite:

  • Remote: Occasional in-person work at a Booz Allen or customer facility may be required.
  • Hybrid: Frequent work from a Booz Allen facility, with potential visits to customer facilities, aligned with leadership expectations and role needs.
  • Onsite: Primary work location at a Booz Allen office or customer facility, collaborating directly with colleagues and customers.
