About the role
Play a pivotal role in support for the Office of the Under Secretary of War for Research and Engineering (OUSW(R&E)) Mission Capabilities (MC) Multi-Domain Joint Operations (MDJO).
Responsibilities
- Conceiving, planning, and conducting exercises and wargaming.
- Assessing military effectiveness and engineering viability.
- Shepherding collaboration agreements.
- Navigating foreign disclosure processes.
- Generating support documentation (e.g., scenario, background, order of battle).
Qualifications
- 15 years of experience in operational planning, wargaming, and/or exercise planning.
- Demonstrated experience in use of advanced techniques, theories, precepts, and practices in technological programs, preferably as has transitioned to operational use.
- Master's degree required.
- Doctoral degree highly preferred.
Desired Skills
- Experience with program transition efforts.
- Joint Staff experience.
Clearance Requirements
An active Top Secret (TS) security clearance (with SCI and SAP/CAP eligibility) is required.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $185,000/year to $230,000/year; however, base pay offered may vary depending on established government contract ranges, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, and other factors.
