Responsibilities

  • Coordinate all work activities relating to processing freight flow (inbound and outbound).
  • Receive goods and check freight for correct quantity, quality, and possible damages.
  • Pick, check, and load pallets for outgoing freight.
  • Handle various internal means of transport.
  • Load and unload trucks using a forklift and/or electric pump trucks.
  • Create OSD reports and ensure correct completion.
  • Check cargo manifests and assign to the Warehouse Agent Senior or Lead.
  • Perform double checks on freight, ULDs, references, and AWB numbers.
  • Perform Dangerous Goods and/or Lithium checks (if in possession of IATA DG Certificate).
  • Build and break down ULDs (contouring).
  • Adhere to security and compliance rules as set up by Expeditors.
  • Ensure a safe work environment and meet KPI standards in accordance with company procedures.
  • Maintain a clean work environment, including transport systems, storage areas, and workplaces.
  • Meet compliance with internal and external regulations, including government requirements.
  • Escalate problems to management when necessary.
  • Complete 52 hours of training credit per year.
  • Solve problems and resolve issues in a timely manner.
  • Perform any additional functions deemed necessary by a supervisor or manager.
  • Develop friendly and professional relationships with service providers.
  • Maintain and preserve company culture.
  • Work in a team environment.
  • Ensure all DG, OSD, Licensable, and Unknown Shipper freight is placed in the proper location.
  • Use standard office equipment, including computers, phones, and fax/copy/scan machines.

Requirements

  • Basic knowledge of local regulatory compliance for logistics.
  • Knowledge of the global logistics industry.
  • Proactive with strong organizational skills.
  • Good computer skills (Excel, Word).
  • Fluent in English.
  • Effective interpersonal skills, including listening, comprehension, and clear communication.
  • Forklift certification.
  • Positive attitude and willingness to help.
  • Able to work in a team setting.
  • Meet company standards for required annual trainings.

Qualifications

  • 6 months to 1 year of related experience.

Pay

Base pay range: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour, based on experience.
