About the Role
Responsible for the timely and accurate movement of freight and information while providing exceptional customer service and constantly driving efficiency. This role supports our Vision and Mission Statement, ensuring our promise is delivered to customers.
Key Deliverables

- Operational Effectiveness
- Product OPA Audit Result – Perform consistently at the highest level (100% approved Service Providers, 100% PU&D Connectivity)
Responsibilities
- Exemplify and teach our culture, mission, and goals.
- Follow the 10 Critical Success Factors.
- Contribute to building healthy cross-functional relationships and a positive work environment; promote team spirit and cohesiveness.
- Complete 52 hours of training per year (4.33 per month) and required training on time.
- Own your self-development; prepare, follow up, and execute on personal development goals.
- Escalate issues to your immediate supervisor, manager, or other required teams (e.g., compliance, accounting).
- Comply with company controls, policies, and procedures.
- Properly use Expeditors systems and tools (e.g., CFIT, ETMS, CRM, ECCO, EDOC).
- Meet KPI Standards (RDL, DLV, POD) in accordance with company procedures (OPS).
- Maintain the highest compliance levels for all applicable Transcon requirements.
- Contribute to operational effectiveness and comply with District Excellence metrics.
- Log files correctly and timely with proper codes, trace types, and events.
- Ensure accurate and timely billing of customers and vendors.
- Understand and comply with Customer SOP expectations.
- Handle all correspondence timely and professionally.
- Participate in daily huddle meetings and department meetings.
- Escalate issues to Lead, Supervisor, or Operations Manager as needed.
- Finance:
- Comply with all company policies, including the credit policy.
- Ensure all files processed are timely and correctly billed.
- Constantly work to prevent monetary losses.
- Security, Health & Safety:
- Immediately notify the Branch’s Health and Safety representative of any unsafe conditions, incidents, or accidents.
Requirements
- Associate's degree in foreign trade (preferred) or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience in the logistics field or domestic transportation (preferred).
- Hazardous Materials Certification (HAZMAT) (preferred).
- Customer satisfaction-oriented.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills; ability to communicate at all levels (written and oral).
- Strong time management skills and attention to detail.
- Self-driven personality.
- Good computer skills; ability to learn new programs and tools, including knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications.
- Fluency in English and Spanish.
