About The Role

The Trainer will train and develop new and existing warehouse employees on standard operating procedures and safety processes and procedures. The Trainer and all employees at S&S Activewear must adhere to the guidelines presented in the S&S Activewear Employee Handbook.

What You Will Do

  • Training and development of warehouse staff by teaching and enforcing SOP's
  • Responsible for stock chaser/Equipment training and Certification safety and operation
  • Provide the company tour to new employees
  • Responsible for Evaluate/Audit employees in training and communicate issues ASAP
  • Identify training needs and communicate them to the training coordinator
  • Troubleshoot issues with tablets
  • Document the training by completing all required paperwork
  • Perform other duties as assigned
  • Act professionally and remain focused while working
  • Safely operate all warehouse equipment
  • Perform cleaning activities as required
  • Follow and promote all safety rules, maintain a safe warehouse
  • Maintain a positive attitude
  • Additional responsibilities as assigned by management

What We're Looking For

  • Must be in good standing
  • Excellent attendance and performance
  • Training experience of 2 years in a team-oriented workplace, preferred
  • Good interpersonal relationship building and employee coaching and development skills
  • Ability to communicate and explain processes effectively
  • Ability to read and speak English
  • Ability to coach and develop team members to achieve company goals
  • Basic computer skills
  • People oriented
  • Detail oriented
  • Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment
  • Flexible schedule and ability to work overtime when required
  • Bilingual preferred but not required

Schedule & Compensation

Monday - Friday, Full-time, non-exempt. Internal pay adjustments follow our standardized, level‑based wage structure to ensure fairness and consistency. Promotions and demotions result in predefined increases or decreases tied to the job level. Lateral moves do not result in a pay change. Final compensation is based on the employee's current rate and the applicable regional wage progression. For additional information, please contact your Human Resources Business Partner.

Protective Equipment Required

Must be able to wear proper safety equipment (safety toe shoes, bump caps and safety vest). PPE is company-provided with a $100 stipend on safety-toe shoes after 90 days of employment.

Physical Demands

In performing this job, the employee must stand and walk for an 8+ hour shift. Additionally, the position requires frequent grasping, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, and handling of items with hands and arms, up to 50 lbs. Moderate hand-eye coordination, near vision, far vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, adjusting focus and hearing.

Working Environment

  • The job will be performed entirely in the warehouse where conditions can range from warm to cool
  • The job will be performed around warehouse machines and equipment with a moderate level of noise
  • Employee must be able to work in a high-volume, high-demand environment while meeting strenuous customer deadlines
  • Employee must be able to change priorities or job duties as needed and interact with employees at all levels
