Warehouse Associate II (MON-FRI)

About the role

A Warehouse Associate II will perform entry level warehouse operations including one or more of the following: shipping, receiving, material handling, inventory control, cycle counting, pop pick or will call.

Responsibilities

• Prepare customer orders accurately and timely to meet daily production goals.
• Follow and commit to meet Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) for safety, quality, production, efficiency, and service requirements.
• Prepare and pack goods for shipment.
• Report and record any discrepancy, damaged items, shortages, broken or unidentified packages to the supervisor.
• Operate machinery including forklift, pallet jack, and stock chaser.
• Contribute to a culture and environment focused daily on employee safety and a safe work environment.
• Maintain organization and cleanliness of Distribution Center.
• Aid in other warehouse or branch duties as needed.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to read and speak English.
• Reliable transportation.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions.
• Desire to work in a fast-paced, organized, and positive warehouse environment.
• Ability to operate a warehouse equipment and machinery.
• Ability to identify colors, sizes, quantity, label, and SKU information.
• Comfortable working independently without close supervision.
• Willingness to cross train.

Qualifications

• Basic math skills, ability to count, add, and subtract numbers quickly and accurately.
• Ability to identify colors, sizes, quantity, label, and SKU information.
• Must be flexible with start and departure time changing.
• Ability to work overtime when needed.

Skills

• Ability to operate warehouse equipment and machinery.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs on occasion.
• Physical demands: standing, walking, grasping, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, and handling items with hands and arms.
• Physical environment: warm to cool temperatures, moderate noise levels, around warehouse machines and equipment.
