About the role
The Warehouse Associate II at S&S Activewear is responsible for multiple tasks throughout the warehouse. They maintain an organized workstation to assist with streamlining products to their final destinations within our Automated system. Responsibilities may include training new hires, delivering and receiving product from conveyor systems, interfacing with customers, processing received goods, replenishing product within our automated picking system, fulfilling customer orders, and reviewing and packing orders to verify accuracy and ensure shipping standards.
Responsibilities
- Efficiently and accurately fill customer orders, receiving, stocking, staging, and shipping product while meeting company standards for safety, security, accuracy, and productivity
- Operate machinery including forklift, pallet jacks, and stock chasers (requires certification)
- Follow and commit to meet Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for safety, quality, production, and efficiency
- Report and record any discrepancy, damaged items, shortages, or unidentified packages to supervisor
- Perform inventory counts and reconcile any discrepancies
- Train in Will Call and other customer service duties as required
- Maintain organization and cleanliness of the Distribution Center
- Monitor and train new hires to ensure optimal productivity and quality
- Follow all SOPs, safety rules, and regulations
- Act professionally and contribute to a culture focused on a safe working environment
- Perform other duties as assigned, including cross-training tasks that may fall under Warehouse Associate I responsibilities
Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Ability to read and speak English
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to follow detailed instructions
- Experience operating warehouse equipment and machinery
- Comfortable using electronic devices
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs on occasion with or without reasonable accommodation
- Basic math skills, including the ability to count, add, and subtract quickly and accurately
- Ability to identify colors, sizes, quantity, labels, and SKU information
- Flexibility with changing start and departure times
- Ability to work overtime when needed
- Ability to work independently without close supervision
Physical demands
- Stand and walk for an 8+ hour shift
- Frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, and handling of items up to 50 lbs
- Moderate hand-eye coordination, near vision, far vision, and hearing required for operation of warehouse machinery
- Must be able to wear proper safety equipment if required (e.g., safety toe shoes, bump caps, safety vest)
Working environment
- Work is performed entirely in the warehouse where conditions can range from warm to cool
- Exposure to warehouse machines and equipment with a moderate level of noise
Pay
Hourly: $19.57
Schedule
Thursday - Sunday (11AM-9:30PM)
Full-Time, Non-exempt
