About the role
The Training Associate II will conduct training for new and existing warehouse employees on standard operating procedures and all equipment. All S&S Activewear employees must adhere to the guidelines presented in the S&S Activewear Employee Handbook.
Responsibilities
- Plan, organize, and effectively conduct employee training and/or certification on various skill, equipment, policy, and compliance areas following Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s).
- Administer, score, and log results of audits, assessments, and any additional tests; arrange retraining or other appropriate action for insufficient scores and notifies necessary team members immediately of concerns.
- Facilitate delivery of classroom & hands-on training by reserving and setting up needed equipment and training rooms; scheduling training times with attendees in coordination with management; preparing and distributing training aids such as handouts; and performing other related tasks.
- Collaborate with team members, leads, and management to contribute to identifying training needs and department-wide production & quality targets.
- Ensure the necessary equipment is available and in working order to complete training assignments.
- Perform work safely and in accordance with company standards and safety regulations. Report unsafe conditions or accidents to the appropriate person.
- Ability to train, evaluate, and certify employees on all warehouse equipment.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong presentation skills.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
- Good interpersonal relationship building and employee coaching and development skills.
- Must have strong attention to detail and time management skills.
- Able to learn systems, applications, and procedures quickly.
- Ability to use & operate all warehouse equipment: Stock Chaser, Forklift, Reach Truck, Tablet, Computer, RF Scanner, and Pallet Jack.
- Able to read, write, and understand the English language.
- Flexible schedule and ability to work overtime when required.
- Protective Equipment Required: Must be able to wear proper safety equipment if required (examples include safety toe shoes, bump caps and safety vest).
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in a warehouse or similar environment preferred.
- Knowledge of warehouse equipment and operations.
- Experience in training and certification.

Pay
$21.12 per hour, Monday - Friday (1pm - 9:30pm), Full-Time, Non-Exempt

Physical Demands
- Stand and walk for an 8+ hour shift.
- Frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching and handling of items up to 50 lbs.
- Moderate Hand-Eye coordination, near vision, far vision and hearing is required for the operation of warehouse machinery.
Working Environment
- Entirely in the warehouse where conditions can range from warm to cool.
- Workaround warehouse machines and equipment with a moderate level of noise.
