Job Responsibilities
- Testing of all Respiratory, Monitoring, related equipment
- Completes and documents routine maintenance checks of all appropriate equipment
- Barcodes all equipment, bench tests new equipment when delivered from manufacturers
- Performs minor maintenance repairs on equipment following all manufacture and company guidelines
- Tags equipment appropriately, bags and stocks onto patient-ready areas per Policies and Procedures
- Clean and disinfect incoming equipment per safety standards
- Keeps all patients, employees and financial information confidential, in accordance with company procedure and HIPAA Regulations
- Handles all equipment recalls
- Follows all FDA’s regulations and ACHC regulations
- Handles all other related documentation
Requirements
- A High School Diploma or equivalent
- Preferred HME equipment repair experience
- Preferred Warehouse experience
- Preferred Equipment manufacturer repair certification
- Mechanically inclined
- Good verbal/communication/organizational skills
- Strong technical skills with a good knowledge base
