Biomed Technician

The Biomedical Equipment Technician (BMET) 2 is responsible for installing, maintaining, calibrating, and repairing clinical equipmentperforming preventive, predictive, and scheduled maintenance with minimal supervisionmaintaining equipment inventory records and partsmentoring BMET level one technicians and teaching basic skillsdemonstrating a comprehensive understanding of clinical terminology, anatomy, and physiologytroubleshooting and repairing medical devices independently, including on-call situationsoverseeing department projects and supporting patient care equipment Qualifications include certifications such as CABT or CBET within one year, a driver’s license, and related education or experience. Candidates should exhibit strong communication, customer service, and technical skills, with experience in clinical, radiological, and network medical systems. The role requires the ability to solve customer service problems and support hospital environments effectively.
