Warehouse Supervisor - USG - OH WAREHOUSE - FE

Job Responsibilities

• Captures and assigns work tasks to achieve optimal personnel and equipment utilization.
• Maintains and updates inventory levels based on past usage and projected demand.
• Manages incoming shipments, entering data into the tracking system for distribution.
• Inspects incoming deliveries for accuracy and quality, rejecting any defective items.
• Supervises warehouse operations to ensure security and maintenance.
• Orders supplies from vendors, advises management on necessary items, and sometimes contacts vendors directly.
• Develops and recommends improvements to warehouse procedures to enhance efficiency, speed, and cost-effectiveness.
• Trains warehouse staff and assists with their selection.
• Uncrates shipments as needed and properly disposes of or stores containers and packaging.

Qualifications

• At least 3-5 years of experience in a shipping/receiving supervisor role.
• Basic mathematical skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
• A valid driver's license with a good driving record.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Flexibility to adapt to varying work demands.

About the Role

The Warehouse Supervisor guides and controls warehouse activities to ensure accurate storing and distributing of raw materials and finished goods. They supervise timely delivery of merchandise in the amount ordered, while maintaining the security of the warehouse. They provide a safe working environment through compliance with safety programs.

Compensation

The Hourly rate for this position is $24.00 to $26.00. This is Aramark's good faith and reasonable estimate of the compensation for this position as of the time of posting.
