Warehouse Supervisor - USGS

About the role

The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the efficient operation of the warehouse, ensuring compliance with all policies and procedures, and managing inventory levels.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the warehouse including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping processes.
• Manage inventory levels to ensure optimal stock availability and minimize waste.
• Ensure compliance with all warehouse safety regulations and company policies.
• Train and supervise warehouse staff to maintain high standards of productivity and quality.
• Coordinate with external vendors and carriers to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.
• Perform physical inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies.
• Prepare reports and provide regular updates on warehouse performance and inventory status.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of supervisory experience in a warehouse or similar environment.
• Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems and inventory control techniques.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Experience withklipper or similar warehouse management software.
• Knowledge of warehouse safety standards and OSHA regulations.

Pay

$18.00 - $20.00 per hour based on experience.

Schedule

Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM.
