Warehouse Supervisor - 2nd Shift

Job Responsibilities

• Provides leadership to assigned personnel through effective goal setting, performance reviews, delegation, and communication.
• Provides measurable feedback, suggestions for improved performance and recognition for achievements.
• Counsels employees on performance issues and provides coaching and counseling.
• Conducts interviews, hiring and training as necessary.
• Safeguards the safety programs to ensure compliance with policies and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain a safe working environment for all associates.
• Aids in process improvement initiatives.
• Conducts regular meetings to ensure that personnel are well informed of policies and procedures.
• Continually enforces productivity standards.
• Ensures excellent customer service and communication.
• Receiving: Check in product completely and accurately. Stock products correctly.
• Loading: Pick product for daily deliveries along with special deliveries. Load trucks using good judgment regarding use of space and product safety.
• Returns: Inspect and physically count returned merchandise. Restock inventory in appropriate place.
• Operate power equipment, including fork-lift. May work as a backup driver as assigned or directed.

Qualifications

• 3 years of related experience.
• Knowledge of or ability to learn computer systems.
• Willingness to work overtime or flexible hours on short notice.
• Good memory and scanning abilities.
• Good communication and math skills.
• Able to lift up to 65 lbs. with the proper equipment and climb 20 feet on a regular basis.
• Able to learn to use a forklift.
• May require valid drivers license and conformance with company driver policy.
• Successfully pass a pre-employment drug test (do not test for THC / marijuana).
