Warehouse Supervisor, 2nd Shift

Warehouse Supervisor Responsibilities

• Manage the performance of people and processes in the warehouse
• Plans and assigns work
• Maintain shift production and report staffing levels to management
• Consult with Inventory/Quality Control Manager on training needs
• Coach, counsel, and direct warehouse employees
• Responsible for administrative duties involving time records, paperwork, schedules, records, safety investigations, and quality assurance documentation
• Enforce safety requirements
• Encourage excellence through recognizing skilled employees
• Continuously improve workflow and processes

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• At least one year of supervisory experience preferred
• Two or more years of warehouse experience preferred
• Ability to operate a fork lift truck and other warehouse equipment safely
• Knowledge of key informational systems within the warehouse
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products
• Ability to calculate figures and amounts
• Ability to communicate clearly and coach employees
• Deft finger movements and visual acuity for forklift operation

Work Environment/Physical Demands

• Work in a warehouse environment with loud noises and changing climates
• Lift up to 50 lbs
• Bend, grasp, kneel, stand, and walk
• Deft finger movements for control of forklift
• Visual acuity for maneuvering in tight spaces
