Pay Range: $30/hr. – $38/hr. based on experience and qualifications.
Responsibilities
- Lead by example to build a high-performing team culture centered on accountability, safety, and continuous improvement.
- Train new hires and on-going staff members in proper warehouse processes and develop any training documentation as needed.
- Oversee receiving, put-away, inventory storage, and outbound processes for both raw and finished food products.
- Build and manage daily and weekly work schedules that support volume needs and service levels.
- Work with the logistics department to optimize daily inbound/outbound schedule.
- Drive weekly pre-shift meetings with focus on performance metrics and ensure smooth handoffs.
- Promote behavior changes around inventory accuracy, loss prevention, and material flow.
- Collaborate with the Logistics team to support all OTIF reduction initiatives.
- Promote compliance with all regulatory, safety, and quality standards.
- Enforce consistent accountability and recognize strong performance.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies as well as damage products through performance coaching and accountability.
- Perform other duties as needed to support a high-performance operation.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- 3+ years of proven leadership experience in a warehouse environment.
- Proven leadership in a warehouse or cold storage environment, ideally with food products.
- Solid experience with WMS or D365 is a plus.
- Fork-lift certification required.
Physical Requirements and Environment
- Must possess strong math skills, unit of measure conversion.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaborative skills.
- Solid decision-making and analytical skills.
- This position requires the ability to withstand working in a cold environment and stand for extended periods of time.
- This position is a day shift role; however, hours may extend beyond the typical workday, and some weekend work may be required during peak season.
