Warehouse Specialist

About the Role

This is a full-time, on-site position based in Federal Way, WA. The Warehouse Specialist is responsible for daily warehouse operations, including receiving incoming shipments, verifying and recording materials, and organizing products in storage areas. The role involves picking, packing, and preparing orders for shipment, assisting with unloading trucks, and operating equipment such as pallet jacks safely. Additional duties include maintaining accurate inventory records, performing cycle counts, and ensuring the warehouse remains clean, orderly, and compliant with safety guidelines. Collaboration with sales and service teams to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment is a key part of the role.

Responsibilities

• Receive incoming shipments and verify materials.
• Record and organize products in designated storage areas.
• Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment.
• Assist with unloading trucks and operate warehouse equipment (e.g., pallet jacks) safely.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and perform cycle counts.
• Keep the warehouse clean, orderly, and compliant with safety guidelines.
• Collaborate with sales and service teams to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.

Skills & Qualifications

• Shipping & Receiving: Manage incoming and outgoing materials accurately and efficiently.
• Packing and Unloading: Safely handle products and prepare customer orders for delivery.
• Inventory Control: Track stock levels, perform counts, and help prevent discrepancies.
• Pallet Jack Operation: Move materials safely within the warehouse.
• Physical ability to lift and move materials, and stand/walk for extended periods.
• Attention to detail, reliability, and strong organizational skills in a warehouse or similar environment.
• Basic computer skills for inventory systems and shipping documentation; prior warehouse experience preferred.
• Commitment to safe work practices and adherence to company policies and procedures.
