Warehouse Operator

About the role

As a Warehouse Operator, you will play a critical role in ensuring Cambria’s promise of quality and efficiency by staging and preparing slabs for shipping, loading and unloading trucks, and organizing inventory in the sales distribution center.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts and overhead cranes with precision and safety
• Build and verify customer orders, ensuring all slabs are correctly identified and loaded into delivery trucks
• Maintain the organization and cleanliness of the warehouse, keeping inventory levels accurate and readily accessible
• Conduct daily safety inspections on equipment and report any potential issues
• Load and unload inbound/outbound trailers with products of varying size and weight
• Inspect slabs for any material defects
• Collaborate with colleagues across departments to achieve common goals
• Perform other responsibilities and duties as assigned by management

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• 12 months of experience or training as a warehouse operator
• Knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Oracle (preferred)

Skills

• Prior experience operating overhead cranes, forklift with boom, and gator preferred
• Strong work ethic and commitment to quality and safety
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Proficiency in the use of handheld scanners and basic computer applications
• Ability to work overtime as needed

Physical Requirements

• Lift up to 50 lbs
• Push/pull 100 lbs
• Stand on feet for long periods during a shift
• Wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) provided by Cambria
• Participate in daily stretch and flex exercises
• Work in an outdoor environment in all weather conditions
• Walk up and down steps multiple times throughout shift
• Bend over multiple times throughout shift

Pay

Cambria’s starting hourly range for this position is $19.00 - $24.00. Hourly ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Individual pay is based on work location, job-related experience, and relevant education and/or training.
