About the role
As a Warehouse Operator, you will play a critical role in ensuring Cambria’s promise of quality and efficiency by staging and preparing slabs for shipping, loading and unloading trucks, and organizing inventory in the sales distribution center.
Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and overhead cranes with precision and safety
- Build and verify customer orders, ensuring all slabs are correctly identified and loaded into delivery trucks
- Maintain the organization and cleanliness of the warehouse, keeping inventory levels accurate and readily accessible
- Conduct daily safety inspections on equipment and report any potential issues
- Load and unload inbound/outbound trailers with products of varying size and weight
- Inspect slabs for any material defects
- Collaborate with colleagues across departments to achieve common goals
- Perform other responsibilities and duties as assigned by management
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- 12 months of experience or training as a warehouse operator
- Knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Oracle (preferred)
Skills
- Prior experience operating overhead cranes, forklift with boom, and gator preferred
- Strong work ethic and commitment to quality and safety
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Proficiency in the use of handheld scanners and basic computer applications
- Ability to work overtime as needed
Physical Requirements
- Lift up to 50 lbs
- Push/pull 100 lbs
- Stand on feet for long periods during a shift
- Wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) provided by Cambria
- Participate in daily stretch and flex exercises
- Work in an outdoor environment in all weather conditions
- Walk up and down steps multiple times throughout shift
- Bend over multiple times throughout shift
Pay
Cambria’s starting hourly range for this position is $19.00 - $24.00. Hourly ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Individual pay is based on work location, job-related experience, and relevant education and/or training.
